Ukraine’s Independence
Ukraine's Independence explores a collage poster between an image trace and typography. This collage poster represents the nation's important assets in Ukraine. The first is the flag itself with the tryzub emblem, or trident, in the middle. Both the flag and the emblem represent two colors with two different meanings. The first is the color blue, which represents the sky. Whereas the color yellow represents the wheat fields and the sun. This applies the same with the tryzub at the bottom left and top right. Another important aspect is the typography, August 24th, 1991, which was the nation's independence from the Soviet Union. The message to the poster is to bring the impact of the nation, the emblem, and its freedom from a socialist nation.
